The Waldorf Blofeld Synthesizer Is A Versatile Synth
If you're a musician, then you likely already are aware of the Waldorf Blofeld synthesizer. When you take a look at it, it is actually a tiny little device and you would not believe that it works. But its bite is bigger than its bark. This beautiful little steel keyboard is around two feet long and a foot wide however its shimmering dun screen plus the aluminum encoders make it an extremely satisfying instrument. It is very easy to look at and every bit as easy to use. The slimline appearance will make it extremely easy to transport around and it will not fail to make an impression on viewers with its high quality workmanship.
Technical Features
The Waldorf Blofeld synthesizer features three oscilloscopes for every voice and because of this a minimum of two are capable of offering synthesis of tones or analogues. Although it's small, it manages to incorporate just about all of the capabilities which are needed in a traditional synthesizer model. All of this means that the model provides a flexibility that is not provided by other machines. The 3 oscillators are freely sent through 2 different filters and they can generate a broad variety of waves. You can get analog waves or digitizable tables that may be combined to create the best sounds. The third is VA only however its really worth the cost.
Combining these features with the top quality arpeggiator and effect slots ensures that these particular units come with effects slots, a special chorus, flanger, phases and triple effects capabilities which can be combined to create a whole array of new features. If at all possible, we would suggest that you check out all the effects including the delay, the clocked delay and the reverberation characteristics that are listed on Effect 2 prior to actually trying to mix anything. Review all of the features before you begin but seriously it doesn't take that much time for you to get the hang of it.
One of the top features of the Waldorf Blofeld synthesizer stands out as the large display and steel knobs that make it really easy to use. On the other hand, the polished steel can make this model a little bit slippery. The knobs modulate the parameters of your sound creating a really excellent sound. The sound which it creates is generally WALDORF in nature. You might not be able to obtain fat basses due to the small size of the keyboard however you will get crystal clear and sharp sounds. If you'd like you'll be able to then sharpen the sounds and make them warmer however more bass is not really possible.
The only real problem is that the back of the device has just two audio outputs and it can do with a lot more to make it more versatile and easy to use. The single MDI port is very limited in use and a couple more are a definite requirement.
